Knee Pain
Knee pain can affect anyone — athletes, active adults, or people who sit for long hours. Whether it started suddenly or has been building over time, proper assessment and treatment can help you move pain-free again. At Technical Touch: Performance & Sport Rehab, we specialize in identifying the root cause so you can get back to the activities you love.
Common Causes of Knee Pain
Knee pain can come from many different structures around the joint. Some of the most common include:
Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (“runner’s knee”)
ACL, MCL, or LCL sprains
Meniscus irritation or tears
Patellar or quadriceps tendonitis
IT Band Syndrome
Muscle imbalances or poor movement mechanics
Overuse from running, jumping, or sports
Osteoarthritis-related stiffness or pain

You may notice knee pain during:
Going up or down stairs
Squatting or kneeling
